For 38 seasons, Canadian Stage has hosted a magical theatre experience against one of Toronto’s more beautiful backdrops, High Park. Experience Shakespeare under the stars, with the Bard’s rich dialogue brought to life by an incredible company of actors. It’s the perfect summer escape in the city, for theatre groups, families or a romantic evening out.

The Comedy of Errors, one of Shakespeare’s most enduring and beloved comedies, is teeming with the mischievous wordplay and complex mix-ups for which he became so renowned. The story of two displaced twins, Antipholus and Dromio, journeying to find their respective brothers, is primed for the kind of mistaken identities and farcical humour that would inspire comedy for centuries.

“A must-see summer attraction in Toronto and one of the most successful festivals of its kind in Canada.”
